I graduated from the University of Montevallo in May, 2006 with a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education.  I have a total of 6 years teaching experience in the middle and high school levels in Mississippi and Alabama.  I started my career in the Hoover City School system at Bumpus Middle School where I taught 6th grade instructional support as well as participated in a leadership role in the system's technology initiative.  I then moved to Madison, Mississippi where I taught 6-9th grade special education resource at Germantown Middle School. I moved back to Alabama and taught in the Tuscaloosa County School System at Davis-Emerson Middle School and Pelham High School.  I am proud to call myself a Purple Tiger of Bessemer City High School, and I look forward to working with all of the students and faculty here.  GO TIGERS!
